Took my little brother, lets call him T, to Walmart for some back-to-school shopping. Usually, people there are bitter, rushing around and yelling at each other while shopping. Today, surprisingly, everyone there was polite, even the kids. It was quite odd seeing everyone in good mood and having small conversations with people in line.
After Walmart, we ventured off to OfficeMax to get some more supplies. When we finished paying and headed back to my SmartCar, there was a teenager who parked terribly in the spot next to me (who was still in the car), basically cramping me in. I had to open my door and made sure to barely make a noise when my door slightly touched her her (it was actually a piece of junk with scratches and dents everywhere, no exaggeration). Since she was in the car and on the phone, she yelled at me and called me an asshole, which I replied in a nice tone, "I'm sorry", and immediately called one of her friends on the phone to talk about how much of an asshole I was.
Seriously? I'm the asshole? I didn't park like a moron and give a ridiculous tiny amount of room to the other person to get into their car when there were plenty of other spots in the parking lot. I really think people should learn common courtesy and common sense.
