Introductions

Hey Guys,

So first time blogging and I figured I would just start with introducing myself. My name is Brandon and I live in the Bay Area. I'm a student at San Francisco State University, an IT guy and currently work as a waiter at a popular breakfast cafe. Working in these industries has really made me into a pessimist. People are stupid. People only look out for themselves. Everyday I live, I feel like these statements become truer and truer.

So I will start keeping track with just an imaginary scale with points starting at 100, which don't really matter too much, just like the points in Who's Line Is It Anyway.

So I guess the first thing I will blog about will be about this one customer that ate at our cafe. For background information, I work upstairs, which leads to a patio section of the cafe, which is furnished with tables and plastic patio chairs. Anyways, this one customer, who is extremely large in body mass, comes in and sits down (she is a regular and has done this many times), breaking the chair and falling to the ground. Even though the other tables were all full, only ONE person customer asked her if she was okay.

Just one. How can just ONE person be nice enough to ask if a stranger is okay? Of course we asked if she was okay and if she needed help, but seriously?

Starting points: 100
After today: 99
