Luck, I don't have it.

Hey Guys,

I'm in Vegas right now, staying at the Cosmopolitan with my gf, S. Starting off, I consider myself pretty good at blackjack, I know the rules and the odds pretty well. However, it seems to me that my luck has been pretty bad lately. There were several times in which people at the table played terribly, with no logic.

For example, have 13 and not hitting against a 10, or having 14 and hitting against a 3. It doesn't make sense to me, not at all. Of course these guys were acting last on the table, and those bad decisions lead to the dealer winning much more than they should have. As a result, I am down (both psychologically and financially).

Even after the whole table suggesting against the player's actions, they don't go with the logical choice, they go with their gut. I feel that in most cases, going with the logical choice is much more smart than following your gut. Anyways just felt like venting a little.

On the brighter side, my gf won a raffle for a free buffet at the Wicked Spoon (which has awesome desserts) and also had a couple ridiculously good burgers for brunch.
